Music licensing
In New Zealand any businesse that plays music that can be heard by their clients (also known as public performance) are required to get permission of the copyright holder of the music to publically perform the music.
The easiest way to obtain this permission is by having a PPNZ Public Performance Music License. NB:The purchase of music (Itunes/CD/Tape/MP3) does not mean that you have the right to publically preform this music you still need a license.
